Month: December 2013
Cathy and I took off Thanksgiving weekend and spent some time in New York, seeing the sights and taking lots of pictures! Nothing like a little time away as a couple to realize what a special relationship the Lord has given to us.
Here are a couple of examples of what I have posted on dhhornerphotography.com.
Just when you begin to think you are keeping up with developments in music, you realize how out of touch you are! After dinner tonight with my brother, he mentioned an a capella version of “I Need Thee.” But this group is actually one guy named Sam Robson who sings all the parts in an arrangement that boggles the mind!
The powerful message of the song comes through beautifully. At first I was concerned that the novelty of the video would detract but soon realized it did not. Listen and be reminded of our need for total reliance on Christ while enjoying the imaginative work of this brilliant young artist based in London.
One week to go before Christmas! So here is another Christmas carol video for you.
One of my favorite a cappella groups is Pentatonix. Their arrangements and harmonies are amazing!
Listen to this Christmas carol from their new Christmas recording and enjoy.
The most popular song on their recording is “Drummer Boy,” never one of my favorites but this version definitely moves it up my list. Catch it on Youtube and see why!
