St George’s Chapel, Windsor Palace

Posted on Updated on

At Windsor Palace in England, St. George’s Chapel stands as a monument to the royal families of the United Kingdom.  The earliest records indicate that construction of the chapel goes back to the 14th century and even though extensive damage was suffered during the 17th century, it has been preserved, renovated and expanded to its present beauty by generations of royal families.  Among the kings buried there are Henry VIII and Charles I.

Amazing architecture that I enjoyed seeing when visiting there years ago. So glad that Jen and Kevin will see it Saturday!
