Providence gets to enjoy an extraordinary opportunity to celebrate Christmas with an Irish twist this year.  Keith and Kristyn Getty and their band will be with our choir and orchestra for two concerts on December 11.  Hope you enjoy this video and start anticipating the time we will have with them!

    Pastor David,

Is there anywhere where we can see or hear a report of what you did in Zimbabwe this month?

      Hi Paul,
There is no plan for an official report. However, the essence of the trip was teaching pastors conferences and Christian leaders conferences. We spent the first couple of days in Harare with the regional leadership team consisting of approximately 30 some pastors, each of whom have oversight of anywhere from 5-15 pastors in their parts of the country. Bishop Trevor Manangha (our host), George Tissiere and I taught them for a day and half. My wife Cathy taught a group consisting primarily of their wives while we spoke to the men.
The next day we taught a church leaders conference in the morning in the city of Mutare and then Cathy and I led a couples marriage seminar in the afternoon. On Sunday, I got to preach at Victory Tabernacle in Mutare followed by the dedication of their children’s building which Providence helped build (a team was there in 2008 for the beginning work on the project and then helped fund its completion.
From Mutare, we traveled to the city of Bulawayo for our third pastors conference and women’s leadership conference–a one day conference for local pastors with Agrippa Dube and the ministry of Bible Training Center for Pastors. Cathy and Nancy led a morning session for women leaders before we all joined together for the afternoon session.
The entire trip was a delight and one that connected our hearts with many new friends in ministry across the nation of Zimbabwe. Thanks for praying for us and asking for more information about the trip!
      David
